In this video we're going to show you how to attach a gooseneck trailer by yourself with help from a cargo view camera. LEGAL: Always check entire surroundings visually before proceeding. Brant: Dynamic grid lines will appear on your screen that move as you turn the steering wheel to hit your approach on the first try. You can hit the zoom button to get a closer look for the perfect alignment on the final few inches. LEGAL: Always tow within the vehicle’s capacity. Properly secure all cargo. Brant: All that's left is to get out and crank the jack down. Or, if your truck is equipped with air suspension, that can be used to raise the truck to the coupler. After that, make sure to raise the trailer jack out of the way. Once the coupler is attached you just need to secure safety chains, attach a breakaway cable, and wire it. Check your lights, pull your chocks, you should be good to go. SUPER: Ram Trucks logo | Know Before You Tow LEGAL: Ram is a registered trademark of FCA US LLC.
